Vertical steel tanks

Vertical steel tanks are vertical containers for the accumulation, storage, preparation and accounting of oil, petroleum products, and other liquids.

According to their design features, vertical cylindrical tanks are divided into the following types:

  • tank with a fixed roof without a pontoon (RVS);
  • tank with a fixed roof with a pontoon (RVSP);
  • floating roof tank (RVSPK).

The main load-bearing structures of the tank include: the wall, including inserts of pipes and hatches, the edge of the bottom, the frameless roof, the frame and support ring of the frame roof, the wall anchorage, and the stiffening rings.

The enclosing structures of the tank include: the central part of the bottom, the fixed roof deck, the floating roof, and the pontoon.

Horizontal steel tanks

The tanks are intended for use in technological installations of chemical, petrochemical, oil refining, oil, gas and other related industries for above-ground and underground storage of dark and light petroleum products with a density of up to 1 t/m3 at an internal pressure in the gas space of 0.04 MPa – for flat bottoms and 0.07 MPa – for conical bottoms or vacuum 0.001 MPa.

According to the design, horizontal single-wall tanks are manufactured – RG, horizontal double-wall tanks – RGD.

Underground drainage tanks

Underground drainage tanks are designed for draining and storing residues of light and dark petroleum products, oil, oils, condensate, including mixed with water, from technological networks (pipelines) and apparatus at oil refining, petrochemical, oil and gas industries.

Production of horizontal underground drainage containers EP and EPP
The working environment is slightly corrosive, the corrosion penetration rate is no more than 0.1 mm/year with a volumetric content of hydrogen sulfide in the gas phase of no more than 18%. Working pressure is not more than 0.07 MPa – the container is not a pressure vessel.

The containers are manufactured in two types:

  • EP – underground tank without heater;
  • EPP is an underground tank with a heater.
